Dr. Puja Kothari, a dentist by profession and founder of The Kynd Dentistry in Bangalore, has always believed in prioritizing wellness and care in every aspect of life. Her dedication to health extends beyond her patients to the world around her.
Her husband, Dipin Kothari, an entrepreneur and founder of PackEz – Packaging Made Easy, brings his innovative mindset and expertise in creating efficient, sustainable solutions.
Together, they combined their passions to create Ekotales—a brand that reflects their shared values of sustainability, quality, and mindful living.
The Moment That Sparked a Dream
One evening, Dipin reached for a freshly washed cotton towel. It was stiff, scratchy, and had lost its softness. Handing it to Puja, he asked, “Why do these towels lose their comfort so quickly?”
Puja, drying her hands, replied, “I was just thinking the same—and do you know how much water and pesticide goes into making cotton? It’s not just disappointing for us but for the planet too.”
That conversation sparked an idea. Could something as simple as a towel tell a bigger story? A story of comfort, sustainability, and care?
Over the next few days, Dipin and Puja dove into research, exploring sustainable materials. That’s when they discovered bamboo—a renewable, biodegradable, and water-efficient material.
This is it Dipin said, holding a bamboo fabric sample.
Puja smiled as she felt its silky texture. “It’s nature’s gift—gentle, practical, and beautiful. We have to share this with the world.”
